Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Nadia received her Ph.D. in Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences from Washington University in December 2023. Her dissertation focuses on reconstructing past hydroclimate and environment in the Peruvian Andean highlands during the late Holocene through the lenses of organic geochemistry and lake modeling. She was awarded a UC President's postdoctoral fellowship to work with Kathleen R. Johnson (Terrestrial Paleoclimate and Geochemistry Lab) in the Department of Earth System Science at the University of California, Irvine (2024–2025). She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Missouri-Columbia working, where she works with Dr. Rebecca North (North Mizzou Limnology Lab) on lake modeling and water-quality applications.
